Steforge is a one-person ecosystem of developer tools, built publicly from the ground up. Every product, decision, and mistake is documented in the blog.

The approach

Build in public means shipping in small increments, writing about each step, and keeping the process transparent. This isn't a portfolio — it's a living record of how software gets made.

The stack

The public site runs on Astro. The system backend uses Python, FastAPI, and PostgreSQL. Each product is a separate service connected through a centralized gateway.

Why this exists

Most developer tools are built behind closed doors. Steforge is an experiment: can you build a real product ecosystem in the open, one step at a time, and make the process itself valuable?
